OUR MINISTRIES
Our mission as a church is to provide opportunities that allow all people to become fully committed followers of Christ. We accomplish this mission through the sharing of God's Word and his love.
Sunday School 10:00 a.m.
Barboursville Baptist Church has Sunday School classes for all age groups. Mixed Adult class, Ladies class, and Children's classes meet at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings, before morning worship.
Worship Services
Sunday morning 11:00 a.m.
Children's & Junior's Church
Children are dismissed from the adult worship service to participate in an engaging curriculum of Bible study using verses and narratives from Scripture. Children participate in the creation of crafts, art, and play to learn more about Christ. Music is incorporated as a tool to learn the Word of God and as an expression of worship. A nursery is provided for children who are not yet potty-trained.

Prayer
As a follower of Christ, prayer is essential. It is the first thing we do as we begin our relationship with God. Prayer is a conversation with our creator, and we believe that prayer can bring about change. If you would like us to pray for or with you about anything you are facing, please let us know. Music is an integral part of our worship. It connects us to God in a way that other mediums cannot. Throughout Scripture there are people singing songs of praise and adoration to God. We want to reflect that same spirit of praise each time we meet here at Barboursville Baptist. If you too have a passion for lifting up praises to God, please join us.
Women's Ministry
At Barboursville Baptist, the American Baptist Women (ABW) groups within our church meet together often for small group Bible study, fellowship, and ministry planning.
